  • Senior Citizen Carnival Day: Senior citizens of Tampa Bay are welcomed to this fun and FREE summer carnival at David Barksdale Senior Citizen Center! At Senior Citizen Carnival Day, there will be plenty of fun games, raffles, music to last the whole afternoon. Plenty of air conditioned spaces will be around to cool off while you grab something good to eat. All senior citizens, their family and friends, or caregivers can come for FREE!

  • Mochinut Shop: Try some delicious sweet treats at the recently opened Mochinut in Tampa! A mochi donut is a blend between the classically sweet, glazed American doughnut and the iconic, chewy Japanese dessert. Mochinut has over 90 branches across the country but the Tampa location just opened last weekend. Take home a box or two to enjoy over the weekend!

  • USF Summer Plant Festival: Calling all green thumbs and plant parents! USF is having yet another plant sale, this time all about summer plants at the Summer Plant Festival. Vendors from all over the state are ready to answer your growing and care questions and find the plant that works best for your home or space. Entry is just $5 and the festival goes from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm on Sunday!

  • The LadyGang Live: Come hang with the women of the wildly successful podcast turned E! television show “The LadyGang” Live at The Tampa Improv! They have been featured on Good Morning America and The Hollywood Reporter and sure know how to entertain a crowd! Keltie Knight, Jac Vanek, and Becca Tobin will be asking the audience questions about your week, dating life, etc. and discussing how you can be best prepared.   • Summertime Fun Festival: Floridians are no strangers to summer heat and the fun activities that relieve it! That is why the Summertime Fun Festival at Starkey Ranch District Park is sure to be ‘cool’ for the whole family! Over 60 vendors and a herd of food trucks will be there to wind down after the Kid Zone and Summer games. This FREE festival is four hours of fun in the sun, running from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

    • Watermelon Weekend: Just in time to refresh during the summer, Keel Farms is hosting a Watermelon Weekend dedicated to summer’s favorite fruit! All weekend long from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm enjoy waterslides, games, vendors and food trucks! Keel and Curley plans to debut it’s two newest flavors to celebrate: Watermelon Blush Wine and Watermelon Cider.

  • Punkin’ at Pinellas Ale Works: Punk rock listeners and those wanting to experience the sound can come out to Punkin’ at Pinellas Ale Works on Saturday for some power chords and killer vocals. The bands performing are Lot Lizards, All She Wrote, No Pants Maurice, and The Kutoffs. Get there before the show starts at 6:00 pm to grab some good eats and drinks to sip on!
