  • Clockwork Orange: A thrilling adaptation of Anthony Burgess’ groundbreaking novel, Clockwork Orange, is happening at the Straz Center this weekend with an 8:00 pm show on Friday and Saturday, and a 4:00 pm show on Sunday. A dark comedy exploring the seedy underbelly of a dystopian Britain, the show is as poignant and scathing as when the book was initially published in 1962.

  • Blueberry U-Pick: Blueberry season is in full swing so enjoy some fresh berries this weekend at Wish Farms. Picking your own pound of blueberries will be $5, and while buckets to pick the fruit are provided, guests are asked to bring their own container or bag to transfer them home.

  • Succulent Saturday: Work on your green thumb this Saturday at the Succulent Saturday workshop and learn how to build and care for a succulent box. Crystal Desilet, owner of Cactus Moon, will teach you how to pick and identify your own cacti and succulents and learn how to arrange them in this class.

  • Innings Festival: Celebrate America’s pastime this Saturday and Sunday at the Innings Festival at Raymond James! Experience Florida Spring Training and baseball greats like Lou Pinella and Tino Martinez while experiencing a music festival headlined by iconic acts like Green Day, Incubus, and Goo Goo Dolls. There will also be plenty of great food and ballpark snacks.

  • Tyler the Creator Concert: On tour promoting his hit new album, Call Me If You Get Lost, Tyler the Creator will be performing this Saturday at 7:00 pm at the Yuengling Center. Following up on his Grammy-winning album Igor, his performance at the BET awards this year, and headlining Lollapalooza, Tyler is sure to be pulling out all the stops for this show.

Pasco County

  •  Baby Goats at Harvest Moon Fun Farm: Adorable baby goats are at the Harvest Moon Fun Farm in Masaryktown this Saturday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. In addition to visiting with baby goats, you can launch from a 70 ft jumping pillow, have fun with the cow train, play ball toss, and more. Refreshments and gem mining will also be available for purchase. Admission is $10 per person.

  •  Adopt-a-Thon: Looking for a new furry friend? Adopt-a-Thon will be at Heritage Park in Land O’ Lakes this Saturday with over 20 different local animal rescues showing adoptable dogs and cats. The event will also feature live music and local food trucks serving up pizza, wraps, and Columbian food! All pets at the event are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and heartworm tested.

  •  Handmade Pasta Cooking Class: Classpop is offering a handmade pasta-making class for aspiring chefs of all skill levels this Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the BRU Florida Growler Bar in Odessa. Have fun getting hands-on training from professional chefs all while you can have a cocktail and enjoy the laid-back ambiance.

Pinellas County

  •   Reggae Rise Up: Chill out and move to the beat at the Reggae Rise Up festival all weekend long featuring Mr.Boombastic himself, Shaggy. The festival will also feature headliners Rebelution, Slightly Stoopid, and Iration on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, respectively. Gates open each day at 10:00 am with the music ending at 10:00 pm each night.

  • Valspar Championship: Fore! The Valspar Championship is continuing this weekend at Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club in Palm Harbor. See who gets the title of Champ at this PGA tournament, and check out the Publix Chillounge with specially crafted cocktails and sandwiches, celebrity cruises luxury deck, and a Valspar Block Party all along the green.

  •  2022 Artist Studio Tour: Peruse some stunning works of art this Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm while exploring Historic Kenwood, the 2020 national Neighborhood of the Year at the 2022 Artist Studio Tour. This free, self-guided tour highlights the works of 24 artists in 17 studios through the neighborhood, as well as some stellar live musicians, live art demonstrations, and much more!

  • Sarasota Jazz Festival: The smooth sounds of jazz are here to stay this weekend at the Sarasota Jazz Festival happening at Nathan Benderson Park. In addition to the live jazz performances, the event will also feature food and drink vendors with guests encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets to the park. The event offers free admission, but parking will be $5 per vehicle.

 

Polk County

  •  St Patrick’s UnParade: Main Street Bartow’s UnParade and Mutt Strutt will be kicking off this Saturday at 5:00 pm in celebration of St Patrick’s Day. Full of floats, leprechauns, and peculiar pooches, this free family-friendly parade is sure to bring the wacky. The parade will also feature a contest for “wackiest get-up” and live music from Ladyz and the Boyz from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.

 

Citrus County

  •  Shrimpapalooza: The rotary club of Homosassa is hosting their annual Shrimpapalooza event this Saturday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm! Shrimpapalooza will offer plenty of food and drinks, local vendors, live music, and a Mardi Gras-style parade taking place at 10:00 am. Admission is free!

  •  Cape Coral Spring Comedy Fest: Chuckle under the stars Saturday night at the Cape Coral Spring Comedy Fest. Starting at 7:00 pm, 20 comedians from across the Sunshine State will be performing their 3-minute sets. Guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs, food, and beverage to this outdoor event with Munchies Smokehouse Barbeque also serving food at the premises.
